"Soundrop Is A Scam"
Well Fam, I just got some bad news for you, Soundrop (Your baby), isn't paying the artists correctly. Well, of course I got some minimum stuff based on loops and samples/quotes, sometimes (rare) I use to produce something with part of Acapellas. At all, well, they're not being honest with the part of mine, based on own content and self producing properly. So, what could you do in this situation?

"Slow release approvals and no response from support"
Very slow to approve releases (much slower than their documentation or automated support chatbot claim), and they don't respond to support tickets even after weeks or months and multiple attempts to follow up.
They seem to have had major cutbacks in the inspection and support departments (do they even have a support department any more?), and as a result are providing very poor service at the moment.
Their marketing department, on the other hand, appears to be fully staffed and more than adequately budgeted.
I just found out that CD Baby is owned by a private equity company (Corinthian Capital Group), so it totally makes sense that they are destroying the company and screwing all its customers, while propping up its unsuspecting customer base with fancy marketing and resting on past laurels, in order to milk every cent of profit out of it before they sell the husk. It's obvious that their directive is to spend 99% of their money on marketing and advertising and 1% on operations, so they can Ponzi scheme their profits.

"CDBaby is holding up the release of my album"
CDBaby is holding up the release of my new album. It's been three months. I've submitted Support requests over and over but they don't respond. They just send me the same email saying I have to add information to my Pro Publishing even though it's impossible to do this through their website. Totally frustrating and angering. Do NOT publish or distribute through these scammers. A waste of money and time and your album will never be distributed. BEWARE. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB and I'm going to drive to Portland and go to their physical location to find our why they don't respond to their customers.

"WARNING"
WARNING! I've been paying for Pro Publishing for multiple Albums and none of my works actually seem to have been registered with my PRS etc for years! Trying to contact the team, they just told me I have to be prepared to wait for my claims/complaints to be processed for up to 18 months.. What am I paying for!?

I'm trying to contact them and it is impossible, you just have a chat to try to talk to them and that never happen, their phone does not work, in my last release they have made a thousand mistakes, putting my music on other profiles and after 4 days not even my music is not even on instagram, facebook, tik tok, what??? And I was so happy with them, well not anymore!!

"Terrible company"
Terrible company. Do not use them. Out of the blue deleted every single one of my releases and deleted my account with no explanation whatsoever. Tried multiple times contacting through email and twitter and they will ignore you. Wouldn't be surprised if they steal all the revenue I earned as well.

The very worst company in America...I swear real people do not work there. I got my 500 hard cd copies...was told they would be available for online streaming Nov. 28..nothing..repeated online complaints..automated chatboxes..emails..they have disconnected the 1-800 number...the worst company in America..do not make my mistake and go somewhere else for online distribution.

"Non-existent support - bad bad company!"
There was a fault on an album track uploaded - caused by them - and despite FOUR tickets of complaint and requests to take the album down (beginning in October 2022), nothing has happened, except a couple of automated 'we're very busy' emails. Never again will we do business with CDBaby. I would advise you to stay well away.

"Unprofessional and incompetent."
They completely botched my album release. They claimed they would distribute my album to spotify. (I was ensured twice that this would happen). YEARS later it still hadn't happened, and I was told that it was too late, that I would have to rerelease the album.
They offered me an official Youtube page, expended the bare minimum amount of effort, and then never gave me access. I was later told that there was a 3 release minimum before they'd give me access.
They were unresponsive to support tickets (took 2 months to get a response from them).
